Sunday snow totals set daily high for March in Pittsburgh – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Our final weekend in March was more wintry than spring-like and scattered snow showers will continue tonight into early Monday morning before finally easing.
Alarm: First alert weather for tonight and will continue tomorrow through the morning shows. Ron is aware of this and will make a call after the morning shows as to when he needs to drop the first alarm. We are keeping it in effect for the morning, with scattered snow showers lasting at least early to mid morning making for slick roads/icy conditions and cold/windy conditions, with wind showers briefly falling into single digits by the time the kids bus stop on Monday.

Deliberately: Could see hints of a freezing drizzle/mix turning to rain late Tuesday night into early Wednesday before huge warming in temperatures throughout the day. Monitor if this causes problems for the morning commute or is just rain by then.
