The Giants stunned the Green Bay Packers in London on Sunday while the Jets crushed division rivals Miami Dolphins.

And CBS Mornings host Burleson, who lives in New York, felt good about the teams during his Good Morning Football appearance.

Former wide receiver Burleson used to host GMFB before joining his job at CBS.

Still a regular on the NFL Network Show, he’s been asked which team he’s most impressed with.

Burleson said: “I love what the Jets are doing – it seems like Zach Wilson is finally finding his feet.

“But for me, it’s the Giants.

“Who would have thought these guys were 4-1 and one of the best teams in the league?

“Shout out to coach Brian Daboll dealing with everything like injuries but still finding a way to make this offense look as explosive as it is.

“That was a big win for them across the pond against a team that I don’t think anyone thought they would beat.”

Burleson also gushed about Giants running back Saquon Barkley.

The 25-year-old scored the game-winning touchdown and continued his rebound from injury hell.

Burleson said: “The guy we all expected to have this breakout year has it.

“Saquon Barkley is a ‘Mr Do It All’. We’ve heard all about him in recent years.

“He literally turns the team on their backs.

“I have a feeling Saquon is the imposter for this offense.

“As they continue to lean on him and other guys step up, I’d say the Giants are the bigger surprise.”
