Sue Gray’s version of the report on No10 parties ‘to be released next week’ is heavily moderated

A HARD-censored version of Sue Gray’s report on No 10 parties will be released next week, the Cabinet Office said.
Most details will be missing until the Met Police finish their investigation.
It means a week of implementation or advance leave for the Prime Minister, who has promised to face questions in Parliament as soon as the Partygate report is released.
If it is acrimonious, it could spark new letters of no-confidence from MPs and leadership challenges.
It could also see a new row of whitewashes as the Met has asked that most details about No10 parties be dropped until their own poll is completed.
And the force also admitted any rule breakers identified in their £1million investigation would only be fined £100 – adding to anger over its meddling.
Angry politicians accused Met boss Cressida Dick of a “Whitehall farce” by making demands on investigators and leaving Boris Johnson in limbo.
An ally of the Prime Minister said: “This begs the question, what does Cress need to do to get sacked from the Met? I suspect that people are just getting fed up with this. “Tory
MP Sir Roger Gale said: “I think this has all the hallmarks of a Whitehall farce written in Scotland Yard.”
Sir Keir Starmer accused Johnson of using “both Sue Gray and the police as shields”.
The Labor leader added: “You don’t need Sue Grey, a senior civil servant, or Met commissioner to tell you whether you’re going to the party or not.”
