Paige’s millions of social media followers felt her response was a slap in the face for the American – after a stupid attempt by her online critic.
One fan said: “Some people are just trying to get a reaction out of you, but a perfect reaction haha.”
Another posted: “Tell me this guy doesn’t get it without telling me LOL.”
In fact, the 30-year-old’s supporters spent far more time justifying the ex-pro golfer’s actions than she did.
One described her latest picture – in a swim top with one half green and the other brown – as “probably one of the best photos”.
