It’s time to witness the rise of the King of Rock and Roll. Elvis Presley was a favorite of many from the 1950s to the 1970s until his untimely death. However, the rise to the top was not easy. Just like the musical biopics that focus on Freddie Mercury and Elton John, an actor follows in the footsteps of another legend in this latest one.

Austin Butter will play Elvis Presley. It all starts in the 1950s when he rose to the top with a troubled relationship with his manager Tom Parker. Tom Hanks will play the role of manager while Olivia DeJonge will play Presley’s future wife Priscilla.

Butler will sing for the earlier songs in the film. When we get into Presley’s career later, we’ll get a mix of the real voice of Butler and Elvis.

Where to stream Elvis online

Will the film go to Netflix once it’s in theaters? Here we have bad news. It’s not a film that’s going to go to Netflix for the first streaming run.

As a Warner Bros. film, it’s heading to HBO Max. This will happen 45 days after the theatrical release, much like what we’ve seen The Batman and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The good news is that HBO Max has plenty of other great content to check out.
