Californians are looking forward to receiving final round of stimulus payments, with checks to be mailed on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Is a part of California Disease stimulus program, about 180,000 payments worth $127 million were sent at the end of December and will arrive in January.

Payment was submitted under the last three digits of the ZIP code on your 2020 tax return.

Some payments may take extra time to process for accuracy and completeness.

If your tax return is processed on or after the ZIP code scheduled payment date, you should wait up to 60 days after your return is processed.

Californians with zip codes ending with the digits 720 through 927 should have been mailed between December 13 and 31. And the stimulus check is expected to arrive on January 21.

The remaining zip codes – ending in braces 928 through 999 – are currently being mailed through January 11, 2022.

Payments to Californians using these zip codes have been in place since December 27.

And Americans should receive their checks no later than February 1.

Who is eligible for the Golden State Stimulus II payment?

You must have between $1 and $75,000 in California Adjusted Gross Income (CA AGI) to qualify.

CA AGI’s income portion includes wages and self-employment income, tips, interest, dividends, rental income, retirement income, and profits from property sales.

If Social Security is your only form of income, you will not receive a payment.

Some recipients of Social Security income may qualify because they receive the other incomes listed above.

You also need to be an eligible California resident and have filed your 2020 taxes by October 15, 2021.

The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) says it has issued a total of 8.5 million GSS II payments.

Surprise check up to $5,200

Eligible adults in the Navajo Tribe can receive checks up to $2,000 while minors get $600.

Married couples with one child may be eligible for support up to $4,600, and those with two children may receive $5,200 if needed.

According to Navajo National President, Jonathan Nez, the initiative was voted on on December 29.

When the law is passed, about 345,000 checks will be issued to those who qualify.

The money comes from federal coronavirus $557 million relief fund.
