Frost, 32, previously suffered from a number of health issues, both mental and physical.

The band took the stage to tell fans about the unfortunate cancellation.

Pianist Freddie Crabs told the audience at the Riverstage venue, “As far as we know, he’s fine.”

“Obviously that just happened recently so we can’t do the show.

“I’m sorry I upset you so much. This is one of the best venues in Australia, we love coming here.”

“We’re so sorry and we’ll keep you updated. It will be alright. We’re sorry. We are really sorry.”

Guitarist Paddy Cornwall later confirmed the show would be postponed, saying the band were “devastated”.

Sticky Fingers have enjoyed a number of sold out shows including a recent tour of the UK and Europe.

Updates on Frost’s health and the date of the postponed show are expected in the coming days. The music reports.
