Stephen A Smith rages: ‘Hell no’ as Molly Qerim asks ‘Really?’ in live TV debate as viewers split

STEPHEN A. Smith scoffed at a debate during Monday’s edition of First Take.
The 55-year-old ESPN star yelled “Hell no” at host Molly Qerim after she asked if the Dallas Cowboys were the best team in the NFL.
Dallas is off to a 2-0 start after Week 1’s 40-0 win over the New York Giants and Sunday’s 30-10 home win over the New York Jets.
The popular ESPN sports show with Stephen A., Qerim and Shannon Sharpe debated whether the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL.
However, Smith is more impressed with the San Francisco 49ers, who are also undefeated to start the season.
“How about the 49ers?” Stephen A. asked.

“How about the team that has won 12 straight regular season games since Christian McCaffrey took over?”
Qerim further asked, “Really?” as Smith believes the Cowboys are the result of beating easier opponents.
Stephen A. mocked the Giants and Jets starting quarterback Zack Wilson after Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in Week 1.
He then called San Francisco’s offense and defense a top three, adding that their first two wins (Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams) came on the road.

“I look at the level of competition [the 49ers have] went against it [and] I look at how effective their defense is [and] how good their offense is,” Smith concluded.
Meanwhile, First Take viewers were divided during the TV debate.
One disagreed with Smith, writing: “The Cowboys are hands down the best team in the NFL. SAS is a hater for sure.”
While others sided with Stephen A., they said, “I rarely agree with him, but he’s right here.”
And another said, “Preach.”
Dallas and San Francisco are among eight NFL teams that moved to 2-0 in Week 2.
The 49ers have defeated the Cowboys in the playoffs the last two seasons.
