Molly started the section by talking about the Phoenix Suns adding Bradley Beal and whether that move would make her the favorite to win an NBA title.

She was alongside Kendrick Perkins and Smith, a former NBA player and later media personality, to launch the show.

Perkins began an epic tirade using some of Smith’s famous catchphrases.

“The list (from yesterday’s episode) he put out was backwards as hell!”

“First Take is in the house and I’m here to let Stephen A do all the work.”

Before admitting this, however, Smith pointed out Molly’s caramel-colored attire and dubbed the show “Mollywood.”

“Did you see what he did, Caramel?”

“First of all, the caramel look, I like it. I like him. Well done Mollywood.”

“It’s Mollywoodd to hell with Hollywood.”

The ESPN star then reached out to Perkins and praised him for his rendition of Smith’s famous catchphrases.

“That was damn good. I have to admit it.” Smith said, laughing.
