Stephen A Smith makes big changes to list of top five NFL teams without room for Giants or Jets

STEPHEN A SMITH always points out that his lists are “fluid,” and thanks to that fluidity, a new team has joined.
The ESPN First Take co-host released his top 5 ranking for Week 7 of the NFL season, but this time the resurgent Cincinnati Bengals made the cut.

After losing the Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Rams in February, the Bengals appeared to be suffering from a postseason hangover, falling to 2-0 at the start of this season.
However, quarterback Joe Burrow told fans not to panic, and his cool, calm and collected demeanor seems to be paying off.
The Bengals have now won four of their last five, including a 35-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7.
Smith, who is now at the helm of AFC North, called their offense “something special” and said “their defense isn’t shabby either”.

“They increase as the weeks go by. We can’t ignore the fact that if we look at the Bengals the way they’re playing now, they can blow almost anyone away.”
Cincinnati takes the spot previously held by the 5-2 New York Jets, fresh from their fourth straight win.
There was also no room for other Big Apple representatives, the 6-1 Giants.
Over the Bengals, it was flat from last week, with the Dallas Cowboys 5-2 on four thanks to a defense praised by Smith, who said, “The defense is so elite, we can’t ignore the influence of the Dallas Cowboys.” “
In third place is the 5-2 Kansas City Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whom Smith called a “top contender for MVP.”
They are defeated by a team named Smith called “these guys” – the 5-1 Buffalo Bills.
At the top are the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles – why?
Smith explained, “Because they’re undefeated, that’s why.
“Because they just beat up the cowboys, that’s why. Because Jalen Hurts plays like an MVP candidate, that’s why. Because they can run football, that’s why. Because AJ Brown is that guy, that’s why.
“And DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert and that defense.”
The Eagles return from their bye week to take on the 2-5 Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, October 30.
