Steelers and family of Dwayne Haskins hold memorial service in Pittsburgh on April 22 – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Steelers, along with Dwayne Haskins’ wife, Kalabrya, plan to host a memorial service for the quarterback later this month.

In a statement released by the Steelers from Kalabrya Haskins on Friday, April 22 at the Allegheny Center Alliance Church, they are inviting family, friends, teammates, coaches and anyone who wishes to pay their respects to visit them from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m a am

Then, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a celebration of life service.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to every loving soul who has supported our family through this difficult time of loss,” Kalabrya Haskins said in the statement. “My husband was more than just a great soccer player. He had a rainbow smile that touched the diversity of so many. He will forever rest in our hearts until the end of time. His eternal love will forever dwell with us, the state of Ohio, the Washington Commanders and the Steelers nation!”

Haskins was killed in Florida on Saturday April 9 when he was trying to cross the freeway and was hit by a dump truck.
