The five most played games on Steam to be
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , Dota 2, New World, Halo Infinite and Team Fortress 2. Halo Infinite has certainly contributed to this cause, as it is a free-to-play game and has been long-awaited by many around the world. Since its launch,
it saw an all-time high with 272,586 players on Steam alone.
Have you played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive yet?
CORRECT ARE NOT
Another key factor that helped Steam reach this new all-time high is Its fall sale has begun, and it will be offering fans huge discounts on a lot of different games until December 1st.
Steam’s concurrent player record has been steadily increasing for some time, and its new 27 million milestone is 10 million higher than 17,155,417 in November 2019.
Steam’s impressive 2021 is clearly built on the games featured in its store, and they’ve also contributed to the platform’s success this year. Eg, Team Fortress 2 broke its own Steam concurrency record after 14 years in 2021, and Final Fantasy 14 does the same without releasing anything new. Of course, there are a lot of factors beyond just being on Steam that contribute to these achievements, but it’s welcome nonetheless.
