State Police Arrest Man Accused of Stolen Bobcat in Poconos – CBS Pittsburgh

MONROE COUNTY (KDKA) – State police have arrested a man accused of stealing a lynx in Poconos.
Soldiers said the man, Semyon Levit, went to an animal farm Friday morning and grabbed a 22-year-old lynx named Blanch.

On the way to his car, police said he wrestled with the animal and stuffed it in the trunk before driving away.

State Police arrested Levit after a car stop and recovered the lynx.
The lynx is now back on the farm.
She is being examined to make sure she is not injured.

Levit is currently facing charges of burglary, burglary, explicit lewdness, cruelty to animals and violation of game laws.
