State of Play February 2020 live stream is all about Gran Turismo 7 on PS5

Sony Interactive Entertainment will stream a new episode of State of Play this Wednesday, February 2, revealing new details about Gran Turismo 7, PlayStation marquee driving sim. State of Play’s 30-minute episode will feature new footage of GT7 running on PlayStation 5 and include new gameplay details.

Wednesday’s State of Play live stream will be on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels at 5 p.m. EST / 2 p.m. PST, Sony said in a post on Blog PlayStation.

Gran Turismo 7 will see the return of the series GT Campaign mode, dynamic timing and weather effects as well as the return of Livery Editor from 2017 Gran Turismo Sport. The PlayStation 5 version will support ray tracing, 4K resolution, and a 60fps refresh rate. Polyphony Digital’s driving sim Released March 4th.

Gran Turismo 7 was first revealed in a showcase June 2020 for Sony’s current generation consoles, where “real driving simulators” used primarily to showcase the visual capabilities of the PlayStation 5. The game is Coming soon to PlayStation 4.

The Gran Turismo series dates back to 1997. Although it was seen as a showcase of PlayStation’s technical prowess, Gran Turismo never launched with a new console. The most recent game in the series, Gran Turismo Sportfour years after the PlayStation 4; Gran Turismo 5 also followed the PlayStation 3 by four years.
