Starstruck stars Olly Murs and Jason Manford trade barbaric digs in hilarious exchange

STARSTRUCK host Olly Murs hurled insults at judge Jason Manford on Saturday’s show.

The lively exchange took place after the three contestants were hoping to perform like Olly herself in the ITV singing competition.

The three boys dressed up as hosts and performed the hit Dance With Me Tonight.

After the performance, Olly was shocked to say, “Wow, I’m speechless” before turning to Jason for comment.

“I tell you I don’t want to lose my words,” the comedian began.

“It’s very rare on this show that we get people who actually sing better than the original.”

His fellow judges Adam Lamber, Sheridan Smith and Beverley Knight groaned at his joke, while the audience laughed and Olly told him, “keep going.”

Jason continued: “The craziest thing is that they spend less time on hair and makeup than the real Olly.”

Olly was quick to hit back: “at least I don’t need to wear a mask to sing,” he shot back, referring to the comedian’s appearance on The Masked Singer last year.

Jason laughed as he acknowledged the digging, and onlookers at home thought the exchange was hilarious.
