Stardrop is an open source manager for all your Stardew Valley modes

Stardew Valley has been around for many years now. And as with games that have been around for years, it has a treasure trove of mods, ranging from simple things like language packs and improved sprites, to things that turn villagers into sexy anime girls. It can be a bit of a hassle to manage all these mods, but don’t worry, there’s a mod for that too.

Stardrop is an open source mod manager for the game available on Nexus Mods (thanks, PCGamesN). It is currently in open beta and uses SMAPI (Stardew Modding API) to “simplify management and check updates for all applicable mods”. It also supports multiple mod profiles and multiplayer sessions. And yes, for those who don’t like the light, there is also a dark mode for the user interface.

Once installed, you will get a detailed list of all the mods you have downloaded, the author’s name, any other mods to combine, and the status of available versions or versions. New update or not.

Considering that ConcernedApe has moved to Haunted Chocolatier, Stardew Valley may not receive any official updates anytime soon. That means any new content or updates will likely be rolled out by the community as a mod. However, that doesn’t mean that support for the game is completely over.

“I have no plans,” the developer said in a recent interview when asked if Stardew Valley will receive an update after the Haunted Chocolatier development cycle ends. “I don’t want to make any promises about further updates and I don’t want to say definitively that it’s over. I think the game is in a very good position as it is, so I don’t think it’s necessary. to add more to it. But at the same time, there’s always room for improvement.”

Details about the Haunted Chocolatier are still scarce as the developer has only just started working on it. However, ConcernedApe shared a few screenshots of the game as a way to celebrate the new year. Two contrasting images show a spooky manor on a snowy winter night and a bus with its top transformed into a clump of vegetables.
