St. Louis police investigating armed robbery at Gateway Arch grounds

ST. LOUIS – For the second time in simply over a month, St. Louis police are investigating an armed theft on the grounds of the Gateway Arch downtown.
Police say a person and a lady each of their 50s have been strolling on the grounds at 100 Washington Avenue Wednesday night time at 7:40 when a suspect pointed a gun and demanded a pockets. Police say the suspect hit the person with the gun earlier than the sufferer gave up his pockets. The suspect ran from the scene. Authorities say the pair declined medical therapy on the scene.
On September 13, a St. Louis Blues prospect and a lady have been robbed at gunpoint on the Arch grounds. A number of days later, two teenagers were charged in federal court as a result of the alleged incident occurred on federal property.
The victims in that incident weren’t injured.
