Squaddie was thrown out of the army for blackmailing female soldiers selling adult clips

A SQUADDIE has been thrown out of the army for blackmailing two female soldiers who were selling adult clips, a court-martial heard.
Private Thomas Davies threatened to embarrass the women on social media and demanded back money he paid for intimate photos, footage and a video call.

The soldier from 3 Regiment Royal Logistics Corps, Abingdon, Oxon, sent one of the women’s aunts a screenshot of her performing a sex act with her boyfriend.
A judge at the Bulford Court-Martial, Wilts, told him: “These were vile and wicked offences.”
Kellie Enever, defending Pte Davies, said that although her client’s actions were unacceptable, the photos and videos sent began as “genuine business transactions”.
Pte Davies, who admitted to extortion, was also given an eight-month suspended sentence.
The judge added: “They clearly wanted to maximize threat and humiliation.
“They destroyed the relationship of trust between the service employees.
“There is no place in the army for those who blackmail their colleagues.”
