Spy Kids reboot on Netflix sets starring Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi

Oh shi…taki mushrooms! It happens! Spy Kids from Netflix reboot, which was announced back in March, has found its leading spy family in Jane the maiden Gina Rodriguez, Shazams Zachary Levi, yes day is Everly Carganilla and newcomer Connor Esterson.

According to Deadline the creators behind the original early ’00s spy kids Movies Robert Rodriguez returns as a writer, producer and director for the Netflix reboot with the goal of introducing a whole new generation to a new family of spies.

The original Y2K films starred Antonio Banderas, Daryl Sabara, Carla Gugino and Alexa PenaVega – with cameo features from several famous faces – as The Cortez, AKA our favorite family of secret spies kicking ass.

The untitled Netflix Spy Kids project is still in the early stages of production. So if you’re trying to get a glimpse of the full cast list, you’re a bit early for that.
