TOTTENHAM left-back Sergio Reguilon is reportedly set to join Atletico Madrid after the Spanish side agreed to sell Renan Lodi to Nottingham Forest.
Lodi becomes Forest’s EIGHTEENTH signing of the summer.
Steve Cooper’s side made Hwang Ui-jo their seventeenth acquisition on an active transfer market for the club.
They will also complete the free transfer of ex-Villarreal star Serge Aurier in the coming days.
But not in front of Lodi, who is ready to undergo a medical with the Premier League newcomers today, according to the Times.
And assuming his medical tests are successful, Lodi will be on a one-season loan deal, initially valued at £4.2m, which includes a £25m option to buy clause Fabrizio Romano reported.
Lodi was also being chased by Newcastle earlier in the summer.
The Magpies are said to be considering a £34million bid for the 24-year-old.
But Forest swooped in before the Magpies got a chance to make an offer for the Atletico ace.
Atletico is wasting no time in replacing the full-back and have already negotiated a deal with Spurs for Reguilon to take Lodi’s place.

The 25-year-old seemed set to join Lazio earlier this week before Atletico came into play.
And now he’s ready to join the La Liga side for the rest of the season.
However, his transfer does not include a purchase option or obligation, the Times added.
Spurs boss Conte does not see Reguilon in his future plans with Ryan Sessegnon and newcomer Ivan Perisic fighting for his place.
