Springdale defeats Riverview in 2nd Annual “Souper Bowl” Food Drive – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Two local schools took advantage of their rivalry to help give back to those in need.

Riverview took on Springdale in the 2nd Annual “Souper Bowl”.

The competition helps give back to local food banks.

That year, Springdale won, taking the title away from Riverview, which had won last year.

Springdale collected around 1,600 items, Riverview around 1,400.

As part of the friendly wager, the Riverview Administrators and Headmaster must wear Springdale ghost attire to deliver the items.
