MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida man and woman are serving time in prison for their involvement in the kidnapping and torturing of a man for three days, including making him drink bleach mixed with rum , and threatened to force him to eat his own poop.
According to Miami Police arrest forms, Marie Dorsainvil, 52, and Occius Dorsainvil, 56, lured the victim to an apartment, where they tied him up with chains, demanding $50,000 and vehicle ownership his breath, and tied him with a gun to admit he had. adultery with a woman.
The ordeal began on December 28 when police said Marie Dorsainvil asked the victim to drive her to her apartment. The victim said he had known her since February 2020.
When they arrived, she asked him to see her new apartment, but he refused saying that they were both married to other people.
Dorsainvil is said to have told the victim that her husband was in Haiti, and he agreed to go inside.
As he sat on the couch, Occius Dorsainvil entered the apartment with a gun and tied the victim’s hands and feet, police said.
It is not known how the two suspects are related.
The duo forced the man to rehearse and record a statement admitting to cheating with the suspect, and told him that if he went to the bathroom, they would force him to eat it. If he refused, they said, they would shoot him.
The next day, the police report said they offered him food, but he refused because he was afraid to go to the bathroom.
The suspects also “added chains to his arms and legs,” the report states. The suspects also demanded $50,000 in exchange for his freedom, but he told them he did not have that kind of money.
Police said they asked him to sign the title of his car. He only agrees if they release him.
On Tuesday, December 30, they forced him to take a shower with a gun and told him he had to drink a bottle of alcohol in case the police pulled over. Occius Dorsainvil is said to have told the suspect he was going to drive him home because he was drunk so police wouldn’t believe him. Once inside his car, Dorsainvil asked him to drink a bottle filled with a mixture of bleach and Haitian rum, police said. He said, “Don’t throw it up or spit it out, or I’ll shoot you. Chug all. ”
The victim pretended to be drunk and leaned back in the front passenger seat. Twenty minutes later, he opened his eyes and the suspect was gone.
The victim asked nearby passers-by for help, they called the police and he was taken to the University of Miami Hospital for treatment but was later released.
The suspects were arrested January 5 and 6 and charged with kidnapping, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, second-degree attempted murder and extortion.
