New Yorkers have had mixed reactions to the reports.
“How can you get something fake? It’s not fair. You have to do the truth,” one person told CBS2’s Lisa Rozner.
“At the end of the day, if you have to pay rent, if you really need to get food on your table, then you have to do what you have to,” said Bronx resident Joel Espinosa.
“I think it’s horrible. Like, just snap. But at the same time, I don’t blame them,” said one.
The sanitation workers’ union did not contact us again, but a DSNY spokesman said the agency was “actively investigating the situation” and “anyone found to have had a fake vaccination will be suspended.” just operate without pay.”

For the first time in two months, COVID cases are on the rise again across the country as Thanksgiving is fast approaching.
