Snowstorm briefly covered some areas of Pittsburgh this morning – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Snow hits our area this morning, making Pittsburgh neighborhoods look like a winter wonderland for a moment.

In some places, like the Plum Area, a slight accumulation of snow can be seen.

Elsewhere, like McCandless and Mt. Lebanon, fast-moving snowflakes, aided by high wind speeds, rapidly obscured the entire sky for a large part of the early morning.

Within a few short hours, however, the sun had risen in most of the vicinity and was beginning to clear up any build-up we saw on the roads this morning, and the teams were will go out to ensure the safety of the street.
