Snow is expected in some states Tomorrow includes:

New York

Parts of New York City and Long Island have been placed on a Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory.

Residents of NYC can expect anywhere from 3 to 5 inches while parts of eastern Long Island can see up to 7 inches.


Eastern Connecticut More snow is also expected during this storm.

Like Long Island, eastern Connecticut is expected to see up to seven inches of snow, which will begin around 11 p.m. Thursday and cause a build-up of about an inch an hour at some point.

10 to 15 mph northwesterly winds and gusts up to 30 mph are also expected.

Southern regions New shirt have been issued a Winter Storm Warning because they can also receive up to 7 inches of snow.

Other parts of the state could see 2 to 6 inches as the storm hit the coast.


Parts of Massachusetts Expect heavy snowfall early Friday morning.

Although showers are possible Thursday night, NBC10 Boston’s Matt Noyes reports that the heaviest snowfall is expected between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A Severe Winter Storm Warning has been issued for parts of Idaho as they expect to see 5 to 8 inches of snow as well as 25 to 35 mph winds with gusts of up to 60 mph.

The warning was put in place at 2:30 p.m. and is expected to be lifted early Friday morning.


Montana’s Kootenai and the Cabinet Area were issued a Winter Storm Warning at around 2:30 p.m. local time.

They are expected to have 4 to 7 inches of snow accumulation in some areas while others are visible anywhere from 8 to 13.

In preparation for the big storm, many schools canceled classes in an effort to keep people at home and out on the streets.
