A SNACK fan has convinced Walkers to bring back the Wotsits shrimp cocktail after 20 years.

Yasmin Morgan, 23, said they were her favorite flavor of corn puff pastry as a kid.

They were hired when she was four, but she’s never forgotten the taste.

The project coordinator missed her so much that in 2017 she began campaigning for her return.

A petition attracted more than 4,000 signatures, while other supporters took to social media to support the call.

Yasmin, from South Cerney, near Cirencester, Gloucs, said: “I loved Wotsit’s shrimp cocktail. When they disappeared, I was gutted.

“Five years ago I decided to take matters into my own hands with a little help from the public.”

Walkers treated an enthusiastic Yasmin to an exclusive sample of the snacks before they hit the shelves again.

Senior Marketing Manager Josephine Taylor said: “Based on public demand and Yasmin’s petition, we are pleased to announce that they are officially back.

“Only now they’re bigger, twice the size of the original snack!”

Wotsit’s Prawn Cocktail Giants are available in supermarkets nationwide from Monday for £1.99.
