Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp reveals his two ideal first transfer signings which should seal Erik ten Hag at Man Utd

MANCHESTER UNITED’s new manager Eik ten Hag was set to look to sign Tottenham superstar Harry Kane and West Ham star Declan Rice.
That’s according to Jamie Redknapp, who claims Ten Hag should make Kane and Rice his first two signings to steady the ship.

The Dutchman will become the fifth permanent manager at Old Trafford after Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
The Red Devils haven’t been in contention for either the Premier League or Champions League titles since then and are hoping the 52-year-old head coach will turn things around.
Redknapp advised the Ajax manager to first decide which players he wants to keep.
A few good signings would then help him ‘create the right culture’ at United.
Redknapp told Sky Sports: “Ten Hag needs to look at the players he wants to keep.
“As bad as it is at the moment, with one or two good signings that can change quickly.
“Who do you get? It’s not easy but the ideal is Declan Rice and West Ham fans won’t thank me for that.
“You want good, honest professionals who can really play, people like Rice.

“That’s the market they need to look for, that can work hard in training and play right.
“Could you sign Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer?
“I’m not saying he’s going, but that’s the kind of player you’re going to need, players to come and create the right culture.”
