How can I buy Skrewball Eggnog?

After originally launching in November 2022, Skrewball Eggnog became available again in 44 states across the US in October 2023, according to BevNET.

According to the outlet, Skrewball Whiskey co-founders Steven and Brittany Yeng said, “We’re excited to reintroduce Skrewball Eggnog this year with even more availability.”

“Our mission is to bring people together through celebration and shared moments, and what better way to strengthen connections and get into the holiday spirit than with the number one holiday cocktail?”

The celebratory alcoholic beverage has been “released in limited quantities” and is “available at select retailers nationwide.”

According to the outlet, the “ready-to-serve spirit” will sell for a suggested retail price of $19.99 per bottle.

It is available on the ABC Fine Wine & Spirits website for $21.99 and on the Delancey Wine & Spirits website for $25.99.

Skrewball first announced its eggnog in a press release on November 16, 2022, describing it as “a creamy, drinkable combination of smooth and nutty peanut butter whiskey and eggnog, made with 100% real premium dairy cream.”

What is eggnog?

Eggnog is a milk-based drink commonly enjoyed during the holidays.

Bon Appétit describes it as “an emulsion of milk and/or cream, sugar and, yes, eggs.”

According to the outlet, the drink has been around for centuries and its origins likely date back to Europe.

It can be prepared with or without alcohol.

Who owns Skrewball Whiskey?

On March 24, 2023, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported that Pernod Ricard – “the second largest wine and spirits producer in the world” – had become the owner of Skrewball Whiskey.

According to the outlet, the company announced that it had acquired a majority stake in the peanut butter whiskey brand.

Steven and Brittany Yeng of San Diego, California, founded Skrewball Whiskey in 2018 and “self-funded the company.”

After purchasing Pernod Ricard, Steven said in an interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, “We’re a small whiskey compared to everything, right in Ocean Beach, of all places.”

“We had to really focus on ourselves and really believe that (Pernod Ricard) could take us to the next level. And this is something we never in a million years thought would happen.”
