Skinwalker Ranch manager reveals details about a “possible UFO” found in Mesa and why they can’t blow up a solid rock mound

THE superintendent at Utah’s Skinwalker Ranch – which has been linked to strange and disturbing events for decades – has revealed new details about the “possible UFO” buried on the land.

Entrepreneur Brandon Fugal acquired the sprawling 512-acre property in the center of the Uintah Basin in 2016 after years of rumors and investigations at the site.

Fugal and his team of experts have continued to conduct experiments on the land, which is the focus of The History Channel’s The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.

In season three, the cast, including ranch boss Thomas Winterton, conducted an experiment to find out what’s under the giant mesa.

Drilling into the solid rock mound at the ranch, the team discovered a “mysterious void containing an impenetrable object” and removed some of the material for testing, which they believe may be an artificial dome.

Thomas sat down for an exclusive chat with The US Sun at this year’s AlienCon trade show in Pasadena, California, where he offered his take on the shocking discovery.

When asked directly if he believed there was a UFO in the mesa, he replied, “There’s definitely something unnatural in that mound.

“You can imagine that we drilled several hundred feet into that mound and pulled out metal that the University of Utah, the professor there, said he didn’t think was natural.

“He didn’t really see a possibility that that could happen there naturally. That would mean that we have an artificial object in this mound.

“I’ve been all over this mesa myself, I mean it’s very confusing. So there is definitely something artificial for a couple [of] hundred feet in that hill.

“I know it piques the interest of each and every one of us on the team. So viewers of Season 4 can expect that we’ll be paying a lot more attention to that.

“And I would expect more effort to find out what this metal is.” Which it was part of.”

Someone jokingly said, “Let’s just bang the shit out.”

During a shocking clip from last season, the crew felt a huge rumble after drilling into the mesa, leaving them stunned, with one cast member saying, “You could feel it in your feet.”

Thomas revealed that the sensitivity of the land area is one reason they can’t just blow up the mesa to find out what’s inside after all these years.

He said on video to The US Sun, “It’s funny … when we were having one of the meetings and trying to figure out how to go about that, someone jokingly said, ‘Let’s just blow the shit out of this.’

“The problem is we don’t know what it is and we’re taking the risk. If we try to get there using a truly invasive method, we run the risk of damaging what we’re trying to study. And so we have to be very careful when we come in, almost like an archaeological dig, right?”

“You don’t want to come in with an excavator and destroy the evidence of what you’re trying to collect.

“Of the entire length of the mesa, it’s one of the most difficult locations logistically.

“It’s going to be quite an effort to figure out how to get in there, and our viewers will likely see some effort there to investigate further.”

Costly experiments

Thomas says the team is lucky, as owner Fugal is an American businessman, tech investor, and venture capitalist rumored to have a net worth of around $450 million — so they’re not looking for funding for the experiments they’re conducting.

He explained: “The great thing about our investigation to this point is that Brandon has funded it out of his own pocket. No government money was spent on it, no outside dollars.

“The show has [also] helpful in the fact that it helps generate revenue. It helps fund some of our experiments. So it was helpful in that way.

“And then of course we have our goods out here. When you go out and read the sign that says 100 percent of the profits go back into research funding.”

When asked exactly how much has been spent on projects at the ranch since he’s been there for the past seven years, he chuckled, “It’s a lot, I know, but I can’t say it.”

Thomas, who has also revealed his strange experience at the ranch to The US Sun, says he looks forward to continuing his work at the ranch.

“I find it arrogant to think that we are the only intelligence there is,” he said.
