At least two people were reportedly shot dead at a Six Flags Great America theme park as rescue workers rushed to the scene and visitors ducked for cover.
Shots were reportedly fired around 7:50 p.m. at the Gurnee, Illinois theme park.

The Arlington Cardinal reports that at least two people were shot, including one in the leg.
Park visitors have shared videos and photos from the scene, including a case of people hiding together in groups during the scare.
A large number of police officers and rescue workers were reported.
Some park visitors have shared on social media that they were able to exit the park safely.
Several ambulances were reportedly called to the scene.
Six Flags Great American is located in Lake County, Illinois.
The theme park was open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, according to its website.
