The group was traveling on a Tennessee freeway in a red Toyota Camry when the car overturned in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Robertson County Emergency Services discovered the horror scene off I-24 West near Springfield and Ashland City.
The children and the woman were thrown from the car after it rolled onto the roadway.
The children were killed in the impact and the woman was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition, local NBC affiliate WSMV reports.
