SISTER Wives’ Janelle Brown has been at a loss over ex-girlfriend Christine’s quick engagement despite showing public support, The US Sun has learned.

Christine, 50, shared the “exciting news” of her engagement to boyfriend David Woolley, 59, on April 13, two months after their relationship debuted.

Although the Sister Wives stars were reportedly “taken aback” by the announcement, their former best friend Janelle, 53, congratulated the engaged couple shortly after.

She reposted Christine’s photo and included a “happy” GIF, also commenting on her pal’s post: “Hooray!!!”

Despite her public support, The US Sun has learned that Janelle is yet to fully understand her ‘estranged’ boyfriend’s quick engagement.

“She doesn’t understand how you’ve been so broken and in love with Kody for so many years and then suddenly you’re in love with someone else,” a source said.

“It doesn’t make any sense to her. I don’t think she’s mean to Christine, it’s just hard for her to understand.”

The US Sun previously reported that Janelle “doesn’t approve” of the Sister Wives star’s new relationship and is “disgusted” at how quickly she’s moved on after 25 years of “spiritual” marriage.

THE PRESSURE IS ON

A source claimed Janelle is doing what needs to be done to make the producers at TLC happy and continue a Sister Wives storyline.

“TLC is pressuring Janelle to counter claims that she does not support Christine,” a source claimed.

“Everything you see from her through Christine or vice versa is really just pressure from her contracts.

“Janelle does what Janelle has to do to look good, to save face.”

The insider noted that they have “projects in the works” like a potential spin-off and upcoming Plexus commitments.

Earlier this month, Janelle made a short trip to Utah to visit Christine and her children and to meet Christine’s new husband.

They couldn’t help but also take the time to promote their Plexus businesses and healthy products in a video collage shared on Instagram.

JANELLE’S OPINION ON MARRIAGE

The former besties appear to have differing opinions on marriage, especially following the split from ex-Kody.

The mother-of-six announced her split from the reality star in November 2021, while Janelle and Meri didn’t announce their split until a year later in December 2022.

Christine is the first of the three wives to move on.

“That’s what Christine has always wanted — to be adored by a man, really.

“And it’s like the first man she meets who shows her affection takes her,” a source noted.

“Janelle works differently. Jumping into a whole new life with a man would never be Janelle’s first choice.”

The insider explained that Janelle tends to be casual when it comes to dating and is most likely thinking, “I’m going to go home. I like my lifestyle which I have been living for over 20 years. I don’t understand I’ll start over.'”

The insider added, “She just wants things to be okay between Kody and her kids, and that’s really what she’s focused on right now.”

Janelle and Christine’s friendship began after Christine moved to Murray, Utah, while Janelle stayed in Flagstaff, Arizona, close to Kody and his last wife, Robyn.

Together, Kody and Janelle share six children: Logan, 28, Maddie, 27, Hunter, 26, Garrison, 25, Gabriel, 21, and Savannah, 18.

Ever since fans found out about Christine’s engagement, they’ve been supporting Janelle and hoping she finds the same kind of love.
