Sinister details emerge after missing children, 11 and 12, were found disguised as an arrested woman a year after they were kidnapped

The search for two missing children ended after about a year when police discovered the couple outside their home.

Adrian Gilley, 12, and his younger sister Brooke, 11, were reported missing in Missouri on March 15, 2022.

After months of searching, Florida law enforcement finally found the siblings on Feb. 1, according to a Facebook post from the High Springs Police Department.

Officials had conducted a “routine vehicle registration check” on a car that happened to be registered to Kristi Nicole Gilley, 36.

Police soon discovered that Gilley was not only the mother of the non-custodial children, but also a fugitive.

They soon found Gilley with Brooke and Adrian at a nearby Winn Dixie grocery store.

Gilley had allegedly put spooky disguises on the siblings to hide them from identification.

Local authorities then arrested Gilley on the active kidnapping order previously served on her in Clay County, MO.

Brooke and her brother were reportedly turned over to the Florida Department of Children and Families Services, according to High Springs PD.

The children are expected to be reunited with their families soon.

GONE WITHOUT A TRACE

A community in North Carolina is also likely hoping that two young children the same age as Brooke and Adrian Gilley will be found with their mother.

As The US Sun previously reported, Melinda Sue Hull, 32, and her children Gavin, 10, and Gracie, 7, have been missing since January 31.

They were last sighted in Rocky Point, NC by family members.

According to the Pender County Police Department, Melinda is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

Local authorities are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact Detective Sergeant Lobel at the Pender County Sheriff’s Office at 910-259-1515.
