The Walthamstow Coroner’s Court heard Mr Brown was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting a barmaid at the Burj Al Arab Hotel.
One detainee, who could only be identified as Detainee One, told jurors in a written statement read by the coroner that on April 7, a Briton
They said, “He was very vocal and the guards and prisoners became noticeably annoyed with his behavior.”
The jury was told Mr Brown was “abusive” but not physical or threatening, but others around him became “perplexed and angered” while the “defamatory language” he used offended some of the Muslim prisoners.

It continued, “I was distraught, but more than anything, I felt sorry for him as he really, really didn’t seem well.
“I was concerned that if he continued as he was, he would be attacked by the guards. He was screaming all kinds of things, some of which made sense and some didn’t.
“He mentioned that a girl had come into his room at the hotel. He told her to leave and after that the police were called. I told him to keep calm and wait it out.
“He was unable to think through the situation rationally and find a course of action that would allow him to resolve the matter.”
The report detailed allegations by Mr Brown that he let down his trousers and made rude and inappropriate remarks to the prosecutor, which infuriated authorities.
It said: “One prisoner said they heard guards say they ‘beat him out.’
“One prisoner told me he said to them, ‘Help me.’ One day I woke up and just heard that he had died. He was just left alone like a dog.”
“He bled”
Another testimony, referred to as the Detainee Two Report, alleged that Mr Brown made statements as if he were a false “Messiah”.
It said: “When he came back from the prosecutor’s office he was bleeding from head to toe and there were casts on his wrists.
“There were no marks on him before he went to the prosecutor. He said he was hit and kicked in the head.”
It has been alleged that police have asked several prisoners to place Mr Brown in solitary confinement.
The statement continued: “Later in the evening he was still bleeding from his head. I said to the guards ‘let him out’ and they said ‘he’s crazy’. Lee said “help me, help me, I’m going to die”.
“On April 12, an inmate came down and asked for Lee’s passport. He asked for it ‘because the Briton had died.’ They took Lee in a bag.”
Detainee 3 said Mr Brown claimed he had been abducted by extraterrestrials and after coming back from the prosecution he bled.
She said: “Once in a while he would see aliens or something and he would believe it. At the time before he left he wasn’t himself and I could tell he wasn’t himself.”
Mr Brown’s mother, Doris, told the court her son was having “a breakdown”.

Doris said she will remember her “hardworking” son as a “happy and family-oriented person.”
The District Coroner for East London, Nadia Persaud, is leading the matter, which is ongoing and expected to last until Friday.
