A shoplifting suspect assaulted an undercover officer with a hatchet at a Ceremony-Support in Riverside earlier this week, police stated Thursday.
The Ceremony-Support within the 3800 block of Chicago Avenue had been seeing a “important” enhance in retail thefts, prompting police to prepare an undercover operation on the pharmacy, based on the Riverside Police Division.
