A POSSIBLE shooting was reported at a state fair Monday night, reportedly causing people to run and scream in fear.

There is currently no official information about the shooting, but the police are at the scene, according to photos from the fairgrounds.

It is unknown if this is an active shooter at this time and no suspicious information is available.

The Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo, Texas was reportedly evacuated by SWAT.

The US Sun has contacted the Amarillo Police Department, who confirmed the shooting but could not provide any further information at this time.

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office did not have current information but also confirmed that a shooting occurred at the fairgrounds.

Video at the crime scene showed a heavy police presence with emergency responders also at the scene.
