Shooting at DMAX plant in Moraine, Ohio: Cops flood scene with fears of ‘active shooter’

Police have raided the DMAX plant in Moraine, Ohio, after reports of an active gunman.

Several ambulances were seen exiting the factory after police rushed to the scene Thursday night.

According to a local CBS affiliate, at least one person was reportedly shot WHIO.

The outlet also confirmed to police that the incident was an active shooting case.

The number of injured has not yet been confirmed.

Several law enforcement agencies have responded at the scene, including the Moraine Police Department.

Photos from the factory showed a massive police presence outside.

An employee who answered the call when WHIO reached him said he wasn’t sure what was going on.

“We do not know it. We’re stuck in the lab,” the worker said.

DMAX is a subsidiary of General Motors and employs 800 people, according to local media.

The company said in a statement, “A facility emergency has occurred at the DMAX Moraine facility.”

“All Moraine manufacturing operations are currently suspended until further notice. More information will be released as it becomes available.”

The investigations are ongoing.
