THIS is shocking footage shows the moment a man flies a plane through the air and dies after running 100mph while on the run from police – leaving one news reporter stunned.

The motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car in West Hills, California, on Thursday afternoon, according to officials.

Before the horrific crash, KCAL curator Amy Johnson was reporting on the speeding motorcycle with live aerial footage.

When people saw the bike speeding on the road, Johnson said: “It’s dangerous… it’s hard to see this because people don’t expect some kind of vehicle, even a motorcycles, can race with them so fast.

“And great. Over 80 mph, climb above 100 mph.”

As Johnson describes the live footage being broadcast on CBSN Los Angeles, the bike is seen reaching high speed.

And according to the digital speedometer displayed by news outlets, the motorcycle can reach speeds of up to 135 km/h.

“You can see it flying past these cars and it’s not just dangerous for other drivers – it’s certainly dangerous for this motorcyclist,” Johnson continued.

Moments later, the speeding motorcyclist was seen hitting a car at the intersection and being thrown into the air.

Johnson’s voice heard the shock of the impact, prompting the anchorman to immediately say, “Oh my! Ugh… We just saw, um…”

When the footage shows Johnson, she is seen removing her hand from her mouth.

She then explained: “Sorry, we just saw that motorcyclist hit a car at an intersection…

“Of course, we will continue to follow this story.”

Police said the motorcycle crashed into a car at Roscoe Avenue and Fallbrook Avenue at about 13:15 p.m. local time.

Los Angeles Police Department officer Lizeth Lomeli said the crash happened while police were tracking the rider and an LAPD helicopter followed the motorcycle. KTLA report.

Lomeli said the motorcycle was stolen in the San Fernando Valley.

Lomeli told the news agency that the motorcyclist was not chased by officers on the ground because the bike was traveling at high speed.

Police said the motorbike driver, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

Two people sitting in a car that collided with a motorbike were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
