Shocking video of the Forestville fire shows flames engulfing four stories and heavy smoke inside a Maryland apartment building

SHOCKING video shows a raging fire engulfing four floors of an apartment complex in Forestville, Maryland.
At least 24 units are affected by the blaze, according to ABC7.
The Prince George’s County Fire Department was responding to the Holly Hill Condominiums as heavy smoke billowed through the air.
The fire broke out just before 4 p.m. local time, according to the Prince George’s County Fire Department/Emergency Department.
All four floors of the apartment building were on fire when they arrived.
The Red Cross offers help to the displaced.

There are no known injuries. First responders are continuing to assess the situation, according to FOX 5 DC’s Lindsay Watts.
The complex is a four storey garden apartment building on Donnell Place.
Video footage shows extensive damage to the building as firefighters continue to battle the blaze.
A report indicates that a fire hydrant at the scene may not have been working properly.
Jackie Bensen from NBC4 Washington tweeted about the non-working fire hydrant closest to the apartment complex.
The embers from the apartment fire may have been blown away by the wind and also caused a bush fire.

Forestville is about 30 minutes outside of Washington DC.
Officials are continuing to investigate what may have started the fire.
