Shocking Moment: Rampage moose attacks and kicks dog walker in the back of the head in Alaska

THIS is the shocking moment when a rampaging moose lunges at a dog walker and kicks her in the back of the head.

The unprovoked attack happened in Anchorage, Alaska, while Tracy Hansen was walking her dog on her usual route.

Tracy told KTUU, “I thought someone wasn’t paying attention and hit me with a bike or something.

“I had my hands on my head and I was like, ‘I’m bleeding.'”

Local Kate Timmons was in a car with her family when she started filming the moose.

As the giant beast began to pick up speed, Kate spotted someone walking along the path and yelled, “Look out! Look out!”

But Tracy didn’t hear her and continued walking her dog. Gunner, as the moose is seen, rammed his leg into her head, throwing her to the ground.

Tracy said she passed the moose earlier on her walk.

She added, “I know the moose was somewhere behind me and now that moose is in front of me and I’m like, ‘Was that the moose?'”

After Kate helped Tracy, she continued to follow the moose, who continued to run down the road, honking his horn to get him out of the area.

She told the outlet: “It definitely didn’t seem provoked from our point of view and it happened so quickly.

“It was just about getting her out of the situation, getting her help, making sure my big thing was that she didn’t have head trauma, that there wasn’t any bleeding or anything. “

Tracy added, “Kate and I have been talking about how the Lord put her in the right place at the right time to be able to help.”

Tracy said while she still suffers from headaches and bruising, the attack won’t stop her from going for walks.
