Cops confirmed the victim as Babu Lal Yadav, 35, who said goodbye and traveled halfway across the country to attend his pal’s wedding.
Terrifying footage shows Madheshia getting quite excited as she hands over the gun and fires it in celebration.
The groom fired a shot into the air before getting ready to fire another as he allegedly accidentally pointed the gun at his friend and pulled the trigger.
Footage showed the moment the live round hit Yadav, who was wearing a white t-shirt. Suddenly he fell to the ground.


Police officers confiscated the licensed handgun and arrested Madheshia and several others for questioning.
Yadav was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Those who took him to the hospital fled the scene to avoid arrest.
Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police of Sonbhadra Amrendra, Uttar Pradesh, confirmed that Madheshia has been charged under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), according to a local report.
“The incident happened during the wedding celebration organized in Ashirwad Vatika, which belongs to the Robertsganj Police Station,” he said.
“A person serving in the army has been identified as Babulal Yadav and died after being shot dead during the groom’s – Manish Madheshia – celebratory shooting.
“The pistol was also confiscated and the investigation is ongoing.”
Yadav’s family has given witness statements to the police.
“Robertsganj Police Station has arrested a defendant in connection with the murder during a wedding ceremony,” a police document said.
“A pistol with four bullets and a fireproof cartridge were seized from the property.”
