The incident happened on Northwest 27th Avenue in Miami in March 2019.
According to police, Lucas Del Fino, Lyle’s brother-in-law, was driving and clipped a vehicle being driven by Juan Ricardo Hernandez.
Hernandez allegedly got out of his car and hit the window of the other vehicle.
“We were very close. We both yelled at each other,” Del Fino said in 2019, according to Local 10.

“I yelled at him, ‘Don’t touch my car! Don’t hit my car!’ I said that in Spanish.”
But then Lyle reportedly got out of his car and punched Hernandez.
Video footage caught the incident on camera and showed Lyle punching the man in the face.
Hernandez was rushed to the hospital, where he died four days later from an injury resulting from the trauma.
Lyle was arrested hours later at the airport where he was about to fly to Mexico.
The 35-year-old faces a charge of manslaughter because of the incident.

Jury selection began Tuesday in Miami.
The trial is scheduled to begin either later this week or early next week.
