Shock twist in bride-to-be’s mysterious death after viciously stabbing body 20 TIMES – with troubling 911 call in question

OFFICIALS have reopened the investigation into the mysterious death of a bride-to-be whose body was found with 20 stab wounds more than a decade ago.
Schoolteacher Ellen Greenberg’s body was discovered in her Philadelphia apartment in 2011 by her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, who made a frantic 911 call, which is now being questioned.

The 27-year-old’s death was initially ruled a homicide but later changed to a suicide. Now her family says new evidence suggests otherwise, Fox News reports.
Greenberg’s parents, Sandee and Josh, told Nancy Grace the new evidence was “there’s no bleeding from a lot of her stab wounds.
“In other words, she wasn’t bleeding; she was already dead.”
The parents added that one of the stab wounds was in the heart, even though Greenberg was left-handed.

Also under close scrutiny is Goldberg’s 911 call, which was reportedly made from the hallway outside the home.
Greenberg’s cousin Debbie Schwab said the call was “rehearsed.”
Goldberg told 911 he believes Greenberg slipped and hit his head, according to the audio of the call.
The chilling call captured the moment Goldberg apparently realized Greenberg had been stabbed.
“Your shirt won’t open, it’s a zipper. Oh my god, she stabbed herself,” he told the operator.
Greenberg’s parents fought for 11 years to prove their daughter didn’t kill herself.
They commissioned pictures to show how unlikely it was that Greenberg had stabbed himself so many times.

“The authorities who are trying to make us believe that our daughter committed suicide when she didn’t are just reprehensible to me,” Sandee told Inside Edition.
After years of lobbying, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office has agreed to review the case.
