Sheffield United are struggling to keep the rising star while Everton and Marseille prepare transfer offers

EVERTON and Marseille are likely to be in contention for Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye.
Toffees boss Sean Dyche made an effort to land Ndiaye in the January transfer window and was ready to offer a big sum.
But now the player’s deal is about to expire and the toffees want to try their luck at a lower amount.
Dyche expects to trade some of his players for cash and is in dire need of new strikers.
Exciting Senegalese star Ndiaye would be an ideal addition after a breakthrough season with the Blades.
Dyche is hoping to sell Jordan Pickford, Demarai Gray, Neal Maupay, Mason Holgate and possibly Amadou Onana to raise money and Ndiaye is a priority.
Everton plan to spend £20million but could struggle to land their man due to growing interest from Marseille.
Ndiaye, 23, wasn’t exactly thrilled with the move last time out either and is unlikely to change his mind now, according to Bramall Lane sources.
He has one year left on his contract and the Blades are happy to have him in the hope that he can keep them and maybe agree to a contract extension after all.
However, Ndiaye has a long-term goal of playing in French football – Marseille is a dream destination.

He was there for four seasons as a kid and going back there as a starter would be the ultimate.
The French club were planning a move next summer on a free transfer but could still make a low offer in this window or the next.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United are offering Jack Robinson a small promotion to stay with them for the Premier League season.
The defender’s contract has expired and he can leave for free.
But the Blades, which are on a tight budget, have made a halfhearted attempt to keep it.
