SHAKIRA has spoken to Barcelona defender Gerard Pique for the first time since their split.
Last week, the couple announced their split after 11 years together.
The revelation came after reports that the footballer had lost his way.
And now pop star Shakira has spoken for the first time since news that her relationship with Pique has ended – days after the couple watched their son’s baseball game together.
The 45-year-old posted a video on her Instagram of her dancing alongside co-stars of her new show Dancing With Myself – Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy – with the trio doing a Mexican wave while sitting on the judges’ panel.
Shakira also added a picture with Jonas and Koshy to her social media.
The caption read: “Don’t miss tonight’s episode of Dancing With Myself! 10/9c on @nbc.”
Shakira and Pique have two children together, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, but have now announced their split.
A statement released Monday through Shakira’s publicist said: “We regret to confirm that we are separating.
“For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
Pique, 35, has yet to release a statement on the split, nor has he addressed his alleged cheating.
Reports in Spain claim the ex-Manchester United man has “stayed alone in his own flat for weeks” after Shakira discovered his alleged infidelity.
The world champion is said to have enjoyed Barcelona’s famous nightlife with his mates and teammates Riqui Puig.
And according to Marca, his party was ‘out of control’.
Pique met Shakira while he was training in Madrid ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Colombian singer Waka Waka’s hit single was the official song of the tournament and the defender appeared in the video.
Before their split, Pique was being questioned about neglecting to tie the knot with the ‘Whenever, Wherever’ singer.
During an appearance on The Overlap, the centre-back told ex-teammate Gary Neville: “No, I’m not married. It’s their mentality.
“I like how we are right now. We have two children, nine and seven at the moment. We work well as a couple.”
