Sex Education Season 4 Not Coming to Netflix in April 2022 (Updates)

We’ve hit mid-April and one of our favorite teen series has yet to return. Unfortunately we have to go another month without a new season of sex education there sex education Season 4 will not be coming to our Netflix accounts this April.

Are we surprised that the anticipated fourth season isn’t coming this month? No, as production has not started yet. Filming is rumored to take place between April and November, but we haven’t seen any cast or crew post photos from the set or anything to show that filming has started.

Lead actor Asa Butterfield recently spoke to Digital Spy while promoting his new Netflix film Choose or die and said this further regarding the production sex education Season 4: “We haven’t started filming yet. But we plan to start filming soon. And that’s all I can say.” Based on what Asa has said, I think filming will start sometime this month. Probably towards the end of the month. If cameras don’t ramp up this month, there’s a good chance production will start next month. But if filming begins in May, that could push the release date even further.

There are not many updates regarding sex education Season 4 to share, but we’ve shared everything we know right below.

Updates on the release of Sex Education Season 4

The rumored production schedule leads us to believe we won’t see anything sex education Season 4 this year. Once filming is complete for the show, it immediately goes into post-production, which can be a lengthy process. The second season took four months in post-production before being released on Netflix. So if season four follows the same release pattern, we could be considering a release date sometime in March 2023. However, that is the case when filming of the show wraps up this November.

We can’t imagine the show spending more than six months in post-production. So the latest, we think sex education Season 4 could be released on Netflix in May 2023. There’s a small chance that season 4 will be released in 2022, but that’s only if the production schedule is cut back. For now, expect season four to arrive on Netflix in early 2023.

Is Simone Ashley leaving sex education?

Unfortunately, Simone Ashley will not be returning in her role as Olivia sex education Season 4. In fact, she won’t be returning to the teen series at all. As RadioTimes reports, Simone is leaving sex education to concentrate Bridgeton. On April 12, she appeared on the British talk show. This morning and talked about her sex education Future. Simone tells interviewers: “I get asked that all the time. no i am one Bridgeton girl now.”

Simone Ashley was the leading lady Bridgeton Season 2 takes on the role of Kate Sharma. She and her on-screen husband Jonathan Bailey will reprise their roles in the upcoming film Bridgeton Season 3.

It’s a shame that Simone won’t be there in the coming seasons sex educationbut we understand that she needs to move on to new and better things.
