A SEVERE winter storm is making landfall in the United States this week as residents brace for possible cold temperatures, snow, hail, and tornadoes.

The East Coast suffered an odd weather pattern last weekend after high temperatures recorded on Saturday resulted in half a foot of snow on Sunday.

The freezing temperatures followed Monday’s snowfall with wind chills reaching number one.
