SEVERE weather forecast for parts of the US this weekend with damaged windows, tornado threats and hail expected to hit eastern states.
The storm that’s forming in the south will make landfall on the East Coast on Friday, bringing several inches of rain to several states.
The storms are expected to make landfall in areas of Oklahomathe northern and eastern parts of Texas and Mississippi on Thursday afternoon – through Friday morning.
A tornado warning has been issued for residents across the southeast Louisiana and the south Mississippi.
Heavy hail and gusty winds are the main threats to the affected areas.
Heavy rainfall expected north of Mississippi and below Ohio valley on Friday morning.


Showers possible Saturday for mid-Atlantic states and northern areas Florida before it set sail later that evening.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, millions of Americans were devastated by weather like a flood in Alabama leaving hospitals flooded with dirty water.
The National Weather Service has warned of “life-threatening” flash flooding in parts of Birmingham, Alabama leading to several underwater rescues.
ABC branch WBMA reported that first responders were called to more than 20 underwater rescues Wednesday afternoon, eight of which were actual rescues.
A 60-year-old man was taken to hospital after being pulled out of the water by bystanders performing CPR.
Flash floods are often the most dangerous type of flood.
NBC branch WFSA Floods are reported as the second leading cause of weather-related deaths in USA based on data from the past three decades.
