“MERCIFUL MURDER”

In the diary, pictures of which were obtained by The Sun, Laundrie addresses his claims about ending Gabby’s life.

“I ended her life. I thought it was gracious that she wanted it that way, but now I see all the mistakes I made,” the notebook reads.

“I panicked. I was in shock.”

GABBY’S PAIN

Laundrie claimed Gabby was dealing with an undisclosed injury and was “waking up in pain”.

“I don’t know the extent of Gabby’s injuries other than that she was in extreme pain,” he wrote.

He described an incident in the notebook that allegedly took place near the end of her life.

“I hear a splash and a scream. I could barely see, couldn’t find her for a moment, called her name,” Laundrie wrote.

“I found her breathing heavily, panting my name, freezing cold.

“The temperature had dropped to freezing and she was soaking wet.

“I carried her as far as I could down the stream to the car and stumbled in exhaustion from shock when my knees buckled and I knew I couldn’t carry her safely.

“I made a fire and spooned it up so close to the heat, it was so thin, had been frozen for too long.

“When I pulled Gabby out of the water, she couldn’t tell me what hurt. She had a small bump on her forehead that eventually got bigger.

“Her feet hurt, her wrist hurt, but she was cold and shaking badly. While wearing them she made constant noises of pain, lying next to her, she said small pauses between violent convulsions, gasped in pain and begged for an end to her pain.

“She fell asleep and I shook her awake because I was afraid that if she had a concussion, she shouldn’t close her eyes.

HIS “FUTURE” WITH GABBY

“From the moment I decided to take her pain away, I knew I couldn’t go on without her,” Laundrie continued.

“I lost our entire future together, every moment we could have cherished,” he wrote.

“I’m ending my life, not for fear of punishment, but because I can’t bear to live another day without her.”

He wanted a cruel ending

Laundrie also wrote that he wanted a cruel ending to his life and even revealed that he was considering letting two people kill him.

“I wanted to go north and have James or TJ kill me, but I didn’t want them to serve time in jail for my mistake, although I’m sure they would have liked to.”

Instead, Laundrie’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, dying by suicide.

“I killed myself by that creek hoping the animal would rip me to pieces. That it might make some of their family members happy,” he wrote.

SORRY TO GABBY’S FAMILY

Laundrie also wrote an apology to Gabby’s family in his notebook.

“I feel very sorry for her family because I love her,” the diary reads.

“I consider her younger siblings to be my best friends.”

Laundrie even made a note asking for his stuff to be picked up because Gabby doesn’t like trash.

“Please pick up all my things. Gabby hated people who threw trash,” he wrote.

LAUNDRY “SAW HIS FAMILY”

Laundrie also alluded to seeing his family after he killed the young vlogger.

“I rushed home to spend whatever time I had with my family,” he wrote.

In the notebook, he also apologized to his family.

“I’m sorry for my family. This is a shock to her and a terrible sadness. You loved me just as much, if not more than me.

“A new daughter for my mother, an aunt for my nephews (sic).
Please don’t make it difficult for them. This came as an unexpected tragedy,” Laundrie is said to have written.

A PLEA TO THE PUBLIC

Laundrie also published an appeal to the public in his notebook.
