Sergeant Ross Township charged with misconduct over inappropriate children’s video – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Ross Township police sergeant was charged with showing officers an inappropriate video of a child who was not part of the investigation.
The state Attorney General’s office is investigating the alleged misconduct, town commissioners confirmed to KDKA.

A letter sent to town commissioners from the police council said the sergeant was investigating a minor who shared a video with his other students performing a sexual act. The sergeant allegedly showed the video to other officers not involved in the investigation.
The commissioner’s chairman said they take the allegations seriously and the investigation has been turned over to the state.
